About us
Mission Statement
Greenhouse Learning is all about helping our children to grow by looking at learning in a stimulating way that is achievable from home. Our mission statement stems from a desire to inspire children from ages 5 to 11 to blossom as creative and critical thinkers.
We also believe that quality education is a human right and should be free for all, no matter who you are or where you come from. If you do feel that you would like to say thank you by buying us a 'coffee' then that would be very much appreciated. We will use any coffee money raised to improve the reach of our services to ensure that all children receive the creative education they deserve.
Who are we
Mr Green is a qualified primary school teacher from the North West of England. He has experience of planning and delivering fun lessons across the entire primary curriculum, from Reception to Year Six and all the years in between. He specialises in creative writing though he can honestly say that there isn't a subject he doesn't love teaching.
In a previous life, Mr Green worked in the script departments for BBC drama and in other areas of TV and radio production. He has written a BAFTA Rocliffe shortlisted television drama script for children called "IMOGEN THE DREAMER" which he later adapted in a self-published e-book, available here on the Amazon Kindle platform. He has also been long-listed by The BBC Writer's Room for his script for grownups "IMPOSSIBLE".
Mrs Green holds a first class degree in textiles from the University of Huddersfield. She has worked at one of the North West's most prestigious secondary schools as a textiles technician and teaching assistant. She has experience of touring the UK with her own creative work and has specialisms in laser cutting, lino printing, illustration and paper sculpture.
Mr and Mrs Green married in July 2019 and live together in the North West of England with their two fluffy rabbits, Basil and Toshiko.
