You are very welcome here at
Dear parents,
We are overwhelmed by the love and support you have given us since Lockdown began in the UK a month or so ago. The website has grown beyond our wildest dreams (same for Mrs Greenhouse Learning's website: The Magical Lair of The Craft Pixies) and it makes our hearts leap with joy. However... Due to how busy we are with our dayjobs at present, it isn't currently possible for us to create 45 new lessons per week (3 per subject, per day, per key stage!) as we were doing. It turns out that's a little too ambitious at the moment. So... We will do our best to upload as much as possible whenever we can manage it, keeping up the same quality of free resources and activities. In the meantime, why not head over to our links page where you will discover lots of other fantastic places to find learning opportunities. We really do hope you all understand! Very warmest wishes, Mr Green x

Dear all,
Please find this week's creative learning, courtesy of Pixie Rae, over at The Magical Lair of The Craft Pixies. This week, we have begun to make a selection of safari animals out of toilet roll or kitchen roll tubes. So far, we have Elsie the Elephant and Linus the Lion. Next time, we will add Hercule the Hippo to the collection! Why not have a go, then create your own safari puppet show? - Greenhouse Learning x Parents and children, welcome back to Greenhouse Learning. We hope that you had a fantastic Easter break and are now ready to grow your brains once more!
Our maths learning for today is now live. Early Years children will be learning about the months of the year, KS1 children will be practising their 2s, 5s and 10s, and KS2 children will be answering tricky questions about the poem "As I was going to St Ives". Enjoy! Our Maths, English and Creative learning for Friday 3rd April is now live on the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pages.
Of particular interest to KS2 children today, will be a rather fun addition and subtraction investigation. It is a full on real life scenario called "Mrs Green is having a party!" EYFS will be learning about triangles and KS1 will be learning to use a part-whole diagram. There's lots of descriptive English tasks to achieve and some fantastic creative activities too. Enjoy! Maths learning is now live... and it's about time!
EYFS - children will learn to sequence their days by playing a card game they have created. KS1 - children will help Mr Green to set his watch after traveling in his time machine. KS2 - children will be investigating the phrase "time is money"! Enjoy! PS: Yesterday's "Under the Sea" learning is still available too. My front page post seems to have been deleted by accident. |
